This is my favorite buffet style restaurant. Regardless what a few others say..they are VERY fast at replacing low buffet items. Maybe those people shouldn’t eat at a buffet right before closing time.
Great food…if you order takeout or get off the menu. Buffet, like most Chineese in this area, is hit or miss. We often order take out but were very disappointed with the buffet selection/attention. Side note, staff was pleasant.
Friendly owners and staff, good carry out. We have come in here a couple of times for quick carry-out. Each time, the owners were very friendly and helpful. We ordered general’s chicken, crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, and a side veggies. The portions were large. We split everything, and still had some left over. Here’s a tip- if you order something to-go covered in sauce, like general’s chicken, ask them to leave the sauce on the side. That way its not mushy when you get home. Also, they have a drive thru option we weren’t aware of, which is great if you don’t want to get little ones out of the car.
Not impressed.. I’ve eaten at pretty much every Chinese restaurant in Evansville and I have to say, Canton Inn is my least favorite by far. The food is kind of bland and there’s not much variety. Way better places out there to get your Asian fix.
Not good. All breading, no chicken. Very disappointing. Buffet also has very limited selection compared to other good Chinese buffets in town such as Crazy Buffet and Super China Buffet.
Best Chinese restaurant in Evansville! Rich sauces and tender meat in all the dishes. Really good crab Rangoon and hot and sour soup. Wish they had one on the eastside so I don’t have to drive from the eastside.
Evansville’s Best Secret. Canton Inn is the best Canontese Chinese Restaraunt out there. We are satisfied eating there or taking home. You just can’t beat the price and the taste. We’ll always be back for more!
