My daughter and I went to Chili’s today for lunch. Per our usual we sat in Chanda’s section. She has been a server there for several years and is excellent. She keeps our tea glasses full and anticipates what we need or might need. We started off with an order of southwest egg rolls. They are always good, plus we had a coupon for a free appetizer, even better! If you sign up for their email club, they send weekly coupons for free appetizer or dessert. Sometimes the coupon is $10 off $30. It is definitely worth signing up for. Today I tried the buffalo blue cheese salad (with no pico). It was excellent. My daughter go the pick three off the lunch menu. She got a chicken quesadilla, chicken tostada and a sour cream enchilada. Her lunch came with rice and black beans. Everything was good, but the quesadilla was her favorite. We always enjoy our lunch at Chili’s.
The onion rings/jalapeos are excellent.
One word, poor.
A little disappointed. We went to dinner after a hard day of work to relax and enjoy a good dinner. Service was good and the bottle beer was by far the coldest in town. I had the shrimp tacos, which were absolutely wonderful but the beans and rice that come with them are on the bland side. My wife had the the shiner bock baby back ribs 1/2 rack which were tasty but very dry. It seemed as if they had cooked them earlier in the day and let them sit under heat lamps. For my money Archie & Clyde’s in Newburgh is the way to go for ribs.
Worst experencie I have ever had. Order messed up on 4 different items. Only thing right was my wife water and that took 25 min. Served brown avacodos. Bad!
Food is sometimes good but mostly bad. Ribs are terrible! The restaurant was freezing even after we asked them to do something about the AC freezing us out (in the middle of OCTOBER)
Really good food fast service and the waitress was awesome.
