Too many places to go were owners are nice. I use to go there for meetings with other professionals. Supporting local business and all. Coffee is good and I like real mugs. But after watching the owner be brusque and almost rude to an older gentleman asking about help for a local not for profit…I won’t go back. I’m a sales person and she’s been cold and short with me which I didn’t like but hey…however when she wasn’t nice to this older gentleman who volunteers! Deal breaker. Business owners that forget sales people are potential customers aren’t worth keeping in business. Your either nice to your customers or your not. Can’t imagine how she treats her staff. Btw nice doesn’t mean you have to say yes…it’s just being respectful.
Horrible breakfast. Me and my mother were very unhappy with the breakfast we ordered. I ordered the corned beef and hash (for me and my mother to share) because of the high price of $8 for it. It was the worst tasting food me (or my mother) ever had, and not like any corned beef and hash that I had ever tasted in the past. Very dried out potatoes and eggs, and very rough hard to eat meat that was in with the potatoes. It was so aweful, and we will never go back there. The lady that served us was also very stuck up, and not friendly. If you want great breakfast, then go to Rosie’s Diner (at 1423 West Maryland Street). The food there is 100 times better. I think there is a reason that me and my mother were the only 2 eating in there. The food sucks. If you go there, then just go for the coffee. I am an iced tea drinker, and their iced tea tasted dreadful too.
The food is so so wouldn’t know how to cook great food to save themselfs. Place is cute n quite but parking is horrible. Service it terrible and the owner (fat blonde) leads by example she is complete bitch and have no idea how she keeps customers with her attitude and balloon prices to her customers. I give food 6 out of 10the and service 3 out of 10 and wont return
Coffee is good, but food is horrible. I began my morning ready for a nice cup of coffee, and an egg white omelette. I ordered both, and was very happy with the cup of Sumatra that I poured. When my omelette arrived, it was not an egg white omelette. Plus, it was lying in a pool of oil. I told the server that this was not what an egg white omelette. It was easily distinguishable by the fact that it was YELLOW. She went back to the kitchen, and the cooks said that it was an egg white omelette. Not only was it visablly disgusting, but they also insulted my ability to know the difference between yellow and white. I will get coffee in the future, but food is out of the question. I submitted pictures. You decide for yourself.
Always a pleasant experience. The coffee is flavorful & no charge for refills so we were apt to stay longer & enjoy the quaint atmosphere.
Had a wonderful time in the cute cafe. Food was super delicious. Omelet was large and very flavorful. My friend had biscuits and gravy and said they were to die for. Coffee drinks were delicious. Cupcakes were, in the words of my daughter, awesome!
