The Red velvet cheesecake is wonderful. Leave room for dessert. I even bought a whole cheesecake for my mother for Mother’s Day.
One of our favorite restaurants. The Cork ‘n Cleaver is one of our favorite restaurants. They have an incredible salad bar and the steaks are delicious!
Not good. Chicken tasted like a stouffers microwaved meal. Rubbery, no flavor, not cooked well, and an oversweetened gelatin sauce. The service was below average. The best part was the Clifford Brown cd playing and the fireplaces. If you want good food go somewhere else.
Get the salad bar.. Just get a small cheap entree and salad bar, wait can you just get the salad bar? if so do that. Make sure you go at lunch time, much cheaper. My girlfriend says to avoid the philly cheese steak, she said the meat was very low quality and did not have a good taste.I had shrimp over rice, shrimp was good but I’ve had much better. All I could taste was bell pepper in the rice. Shrimp came with a well made clarified butter.Salad bar was amazing, anchovies, pepperoni, artichoke, fresh fruit, ect.decor is dark and depressing, very old, I’m okay with this as I like the darkwait staff was great, very nice guy
Lobster was half cooked. Dim lighting made me a little nervous. Over all, I wasnt impressed…not for the price. Staff was friendly though.
Down Down Down. Wow what a let down the place is trashed inside and out dirty the carpet blinds decor is horrible the outside of the building yikes try some new landscaping and a new door hope the kitchen isnt well clean it up has been the most expensive place in town for thirty years time for a face lift the food well it is what it is just food
Worst steak I’ve ever had + bad service. 1. The waiter didn’t know how to operate a wine key and I had to open my own bottle of wine.2. We had to ask for our own bread.3. The waiter could not explain what the specials actually were.4. The waiter asked if I wanted my twice-baked stuffed potato with butter and sour cream. Had he never had a twice-baked potato before?5. The salad bar looked beat-up and obviously hadn’t been freshened in quite some time.6. They were out of Prime Rib AND Terriyaki Filet by 6:30 pm on a Friday night.7. The New York Strip came out cold, and VERY chewy. My enormous steak knife could barely cut through it.If you are not going to update your restaurant from it’s 70’s western/rat-pack decor, at lease provide descent food with a wait staff that is familiar with the menu. NEVER AGAIN!!!
