I’ve been here twice, the first time I had the hook & ladder & second time brisket. Both times I was blown away.
Paid way too much for a lackluster sandwich.
Freshest Bread Around. Tried Firehouse Subs over the weekend and discovered that they are one of the best sub shops around. A group of us tried three subs – the New York Steamer, a delicious blend of brisket, pastrami, and melted provolone; the Italian – a mix of Genoa salami, pepperoni, and ham, covered with melted provolone, Italian dressing, and spices; and the Firehouse Hero – a blend of succulent roast beef, smoked turkey breast, and ham. All three were delicious, and the staff was very willing about cutting the subs in half so we could sample some of everything. The bread was noticeably fresh, as were the veggies. The only thing we missed was the funky soda machine described on the website, but we’ll definitely return!
We got the ny steamer combo and the beef brisket combo about $18 and both were awesome sandwiches
Fantastic Subs. I forget which one I got but it was AMAZING. The juices and sauce was dripping of. It’s more $$ then I thought but deff will be back.
Firehouse is one of the better sandwich shops around. I had a cheese steak that was very tasty. I’ll be back for the Hook and Ladder (honey ham and turkey).
