Ginmya is the most consistent Asian restaurant in the city. The sushi is always good and sometimes great. The portions on the lunch and dinner meals are significant. The General Tso’s Chicken is the best I’ve ever had. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is probably the best in the city, and the Chicken Fried Rice blows away everyone else in town.Service is always friendly, and it’s normally quick. I’ve been more than a dozen times, and you can’t argue with the pricing. Hours are long, if odd.If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. It’s right across the street from Day School by Lynch Rd.
I love the food and menu breadth at Ginmaya. I really want to be one of their regular customers. But I get so frustrated as I wait and wait for my meal and carry out customers obviously get priority in the kitchen. Please GINMAYA! Fix this. Your sit down customers shouldn’t have to wait so long!

2 tries…not good. 1st time: I pre-ordered and went in for pick up. Order was ready, but the food was not great. Ordered a couple basic sushi rolls and they tasted like they were from the grocery store.2nd time: Online ordered. Took 1 hour and 22 minutes to arrive at the house. Food was cold. Ordered hibachi shrimp, crab rangoon, soup, and sushi. Everything tasted like something you’d get from the frozen food section of the grocery store. I’ve given up trying this place. Unfortunate as they deliver and are convenient.
