My husband and I met our friends for brunch today at Hornet’s Nest. We arrived about 9:15 Sunday morning and were seated immediately. Our server came over and got our drink order and asked if we were ready to order. We needed a few minutes to peruse the menu. It was everyone’s first time for brunch. I chose the chicken and waffles $8.99. My husband got the western omelet $6.99. Our friends order the pancake breakfast and an omelet as well. Our food came fairly quickly and was very good. All of our meals came with the choice of two sides. I choose the prime rib hash and fresh fruit cup. The waffles were fresh made with blueberries and the chicken strips were hand breaded. My breakfast was exceptional. The fruit cup had fresh strawberries, blueberries, and oranges, a nice surprise. We all enjoyed our meals and service very much. We will definitely be back again for brunch.
