Great place for food, music, and sports. Had a friend who plays in a band invite me out to Mojo’s to see him play. First time going to mojo’s, Great place, I ordered a pizza and I must say it was better than any I have had in a long time. Paulie was our server/bartender and did an awesome job, friendly and a great worker. They were very busy. I will make this my go to place for Pizza and I need to try the wings, table next to me had them, they looked and smelled awesome. I normally don’t go out to bars much but I would not call Mojo’s just a bar, it’s clean and has a very laid back friendly atmosphere with good food. I might also add the prices are very fair on beer, I tried all 3 Carsons they had on tap and was very impressed with Carsons. They are a great local Evansville Brewery.
Fantastic Experience Tonight!. I joined some friends around 9 tonight for some drinks. Ended up ordering some food and listening to the band for a couple of hours. I really enjoyed myself. I ordered their blackened chicken salad and it was by far the best bang for your buck in this town. Previously, I had only been here on Sundays to watch football and I’ve only tried their wings since they were on special. (Much better than Hooters or even Bdubs for that matter)I was a witness an altercation where a group was thrown out tonight. The guy seemed to be an unruly drunk. I didn’t see it unravel from the beginning, but what little bit I did see made me respect the staff even more. They are always friendly and give prompt service. At 32, I’m over going to bars that cater to belligerent drunks. I like to go out, have a fun time and not have to worry about some guy that’s been over-served being a prick. I highly recommend Mojo’s. Thanks for having a clean, smoke-free, and friendly establishment. A+
Rude place, if you are not their type of crowd. First time I have ever not left a tip. Food is ok but not great at all. One of their employees tried to start a fight of canceling a food order. Great Place. I only discovered this place a few months ago, since then I had been going on Sundays to eat and watch football during NFL season… Great food and drink specials for football… I see some reviews below complaining on taking too long to get food, when I have gone, I got there as soon as they open and 20 people would be standing outside waiting to get in… Then a constant stream of people coming in until all tables and bar are full in just a matter of 15 minutes…. when you have a full room of people ordering wings all at once since they are 60 cents each on Sundays, it’s going to take a while to get your food but I have never waited more than 30 minutes. People forget that this is a locally owned business not a chain that serves wings out of a box that have already been cooked and only take 5 minutes to re warm. I’m sure the kitchen isn’t huge either like a chain . I have talked to one of the owners and she was very nice. She told me everything is cooked from fresh as much as possible, not a bunch of frozen food. They even roll the pizza dough fresh and make it with homemade sauce, it looks great but I have not got passed the wings and Fish yet. The owners are hands on, She always has been there on Sundays waiting tables and Bar-tending. I guess what I’m saying is if you want fast food hit a Mcdonalds. I prefer supporting a local non chain with great food.
I was overcharged by an inept wait staff and then , to top that, was treated poorly by one of the owner. Too bad, won’t be back. Shame because the food is good when they get your order right. Maybe the staff needs some training. The owner definatley would benefit from a customer service seminar.
