We made a reservation for 16 on Sunday at 4:45 to celebrate our brother’s birthday. We made it early because we were going to see a 7pm movie. We ended up with 18 people, so they added an extra table for us. Our server Deena did a very nice job taking care of us. She got our drink order and brought us baskets of warm rolls with real butter. We ordered several appetizers for the table. We tried the potato skins, fried pepper jack wedges, chicken tenders and chips and queso. The appetizers came out in a timely fashion and were all good. I really enjoyed the chicken tenders. For dinner we ordered a variety of dishes, from chicken tenders, ribs garlic shrimp pasta, low country shrimp, fish and chips, prime rib burger, French dip, steak and chicken salad. The meals were met with mixed reviews. The fish and chips, chicken strips, burger and salad were all well received. The pasta, ribs and shrimp were disappointing. The french dip was fine, but would have expected a better quality of beef for a $12 sandwich, plus they were not very warm. We also had several side that were not warm as well. To be fair a table of 18 can be a challenge for many restaurants. Our server did such a good job, she made the meal enjoyable. She was good with refills and clearing our plates and taking care of the problems that arose.
