I went with my grandmother and my 3 year old (who is generally well-behaved but has a short attention span.) A hostess greeted us and explained the menu and special of the day and guided us through the process of ordering, choosing a seat, and waiting for our food to get to us. The Wood-Fired pizzas were delicious. They do have three items on a children’s menu which I was happy to see since it wasn’t listed on their menu on their website. The prices are higher than an average eat and run lunch spot but that’s to be expected as their food is locally sourced as much as possible and the quality and serving sizes are amazing. We could have easily split the pizza, a regular sized salad, or any of the regular dishes between two people. Since it’s our first time we decided to try a couple of different things. The roasted vegetables were extremely delicious. My daughter liked the cheese pizza. We split one of the salads which was large enough for either serving as a meal in itself or to split with somebody as a side. I got the Thai Pizza and took half of it home to share with my husband. Their dessert selection is amazing and the gelato looked delicious although we were too full to even try it. I don’t think I would recommend taking children there unless they’re a little bit older and more well-behaved. My daughter got antsy because she quickly finished her bites of pizza she wanted and had to sit there while we finished eating. I would without hesitation return with her again, but probably just to sit at the desert bar and get her a dish of gelato or a slice of the yummy looking gelato cake. Pictured is the take home pizza box with helpful reheating instructions and our left overs. Half of the Thai pie and half of the children’s cheese pizza. YUM!

I had the Cafona pizza, wood fired. it was delicious. A nice change from Turonis and maybe better. Pretty cool surroundings. They also have Thai and desserts.

Weve eaten here a number of times & the food quality has been good every time. A half Detroit style has enough to feed us both if were not too hungry. I liked the eclectic pistachio pizza with Italian sausage & drizzled with spicy honey. Theres enough quirky variety that were still trying different things each time. The dessert case looks interesting but with him diabetic we havent really sampled those. Gluten-free crust is available for the thin versions if you have that issue.

We had dinner here tonight and thought it was pretty good. I had a calzone and my wife had smaller Detroit pizza with mushrooms. The quality of the food was top notch, but their prices were a little high. Both things we got were $12. A whole Detroit pizza is $20. I concept of the restaurant is good, but I am glad it was not too busy. The desserts are worth the price.

They look to be doing everything right. The pizza is great from crust, sauce and the fresh mozzarella. The variety is unique. We had the Vegetable, very good! Gelato is made there as well. A great way to end the meal. We will be back.
