Cozy. Penny lane has a very warm and cozy feel, somewhere you can put you feet up and read a book while Drinking a Espresso. Had Lunch there today, The Turkey Club was good, the Grilled 3 Cheese was decent, and the Veg. Soup was good. The Coffee, a bit bitter for me, and had a birnt or over roasted taste. Maybe it was a bad batch of beans or something. But I was very comfortable, almost like home. I may try the coffee again just to be fair.
Pennylane is the place to be. Pennylane has been under new ownership for a little while now, but I still can’t get over how much BETTER it is!! The atmosphere is so much friendlier and the decor keeps getting better and better….the menu has expanded and the selections are great. And the coffee is, of course, fantastic!! I can’t get enough of Pennylane coffee house… And I think it’s safe to say that many of the locals share my sentiments!
Excellent coffee, but it also has great other stuff. Yummy sandwiches and wraps, muffins, cookies, etc. Love it.
In my opinion Penny Lane isn’t what it used to be. These days I go to Abbey Road over near Turoni’s on Main St. The reporter who used to work for WIKY runs the place with his wife. They’ve got really good coffee, and their prices are pretty good.
Really chill. I love the laid back, relaxed vibe of Penny Lane. The hot apple chai is my favorite item when it starts to cool down outside. I’m very excited that there is now a set weekly lunch menu. If you are wanting coffee or tea from somewhere that is better than anything starbucks can ever produce, go to Penny Lane 🙂
Love it…. I bring my macbook, my reading book and I hang out in a nook. LOL. Reminds me of this place I used to frequent in Los Angeles… Good times and good vibes.
The perfect atmosphere. I enjoy Penny Lane immensely. The decor, the area it’s in and the people all help make it more than just a cup of coffee or tea, but more of an experience each time.
