Called in order for 7 Super Strombolis, three withoutmushrooms or black olives, two without green pepper and two regulars. Asked that they be marked accordingly, to my surpriseeveryone turned out the way they were ordered and every one of them were delicious.Best strombolis in Evansville.
Good food, cheap prices. Hit or miss sometimes, but usually pretty good — no consistency with how the food is madespaghetti, terrible – don’t order itpizza is okaysandwiches stromboli or ham are what they know how to make, I suggest trying these above anything else here
The Stromboli is truly one of the best in town!
Has yet to let me down. I stumbled across this site based on that I needed to find their number really quick because I had a need to feed right then and was in the neighborhood. I was shocked to see so many bad reviews on here. I’ve been going to sam’s since I was probably a wee teenager. While I’m not a huge fan of their pizza, their sandwiches, garlic cheese bread, and calzones have got to be the best in town. Their hot ham and cheese is to die for. Their stroms are a thousand times better than Pizza King. Their garlic cheese bread is worthy of fighting your family for the last piece even if you don’t need to assert your dominance! And lastly, the calzones are an all time favorite of mine, and I’ve never had a bad or cold one. I love supporting local businesses, and I hate to play favorites, but Sams is by far my favorite pizza joint in town. It’s always fresh, hot, and ready for THE ULTIMATE CONSUMPTION! Totally worth the time and price. They have a pretty solid menu with a lot of variety. Every once in a while I venture from my usuals only to find that I am not disappointed in my venture. Sam’s Pizzeria has yet to let me down in nearly ten years!
Cold food. When I placed a order it took over an hour to get and was cold when i passed a call the manager said i was i wasnt cold he coould make one and drive to boonville and it could still be hott he was very rude I say order from some place else if they are going to be rude
Never let down, cant turn away a free 6 pack of soda with ur pizza. Its a safe place i always order from. Never had a bad experience. Been eating here scince i was a teenager. Hasnt changed a bit. Love the philly steak sandwhich.
Misinformed. My experience with Sam’s was overall decent pizza, but not what I had expected. I used their online menu to place my order over the phone. I ordered a 16 inch 10.75 cheese pizza, and 2 orders of bread sticks with cheese sauce for 2.95 each. This would be 16.95 before tax, which led me to think that the total a little over 19 bucks was reasonable. The delivery took over an hour, and upon delivery the pizza guy had left my receipt in his car, so i don’t even have one showing what all I was charged for. I was missing an order of bread sticks so I called back, only to have the man on the phone tell me I only ordered one order with an extra cheese, which was very untrue. So i was curious to my outrageous total, it turns out the prices were raised a couple days ago and they had neglected to change the online menu. The manager on the phone made no offers to reconcile this. I feel like I was taken advantage of. Not even an offer to write my name down for an order of bread sticks next time I order. Basically I was told to buzz off. I know for a fact no franchise pizza chain would treat a customer like this, but i guess its my fault for trying to try something new and local! It’s a shame that local businesses lack the customer service skills that a McDonald’s employee would exhibit. I will never order from this establishment or recommend it to anyone. A proper apology and offer for the bread sticks which I ordered could of earned them a valuable repeat customer. Sadly it seems that Sam’s just doesn’t care.
