I like the food here overall, but it isn’t managed very well. On 2 separate occasions they have given me au jus with my grilled cheese, instead of tomato soup when I go through the drive through.Once I ordered a large drink and they were apparently out of the long straws so gave me a small one that didn’t even reach the top. Then they don’t include napkins in the take out bag.I like to go there because they have healthier, lower calorie options. They even highlight it on their webpage. However they offer very few light salad dressings. The red wine vinaigrette is 230 calories and the raspberry vinaigrette is 100 calories. Everything else is 430 calories. And the raspberry vinaigrette is AWFUL. There is no vinaigrette, it is just overly sweet, splenda-tasting fake raspberry. It IS possible to make lower calorie options taste good, but they sure haven’t in this case.
THE best sandwiches I’ve ever had, hands down! All of the homemade breads are delicious, but my personal favorite is the sourdough… soft, chewy, buttery, and crispy around the edges=YUM. Their Original sandwich is a stand out, and highly recommended to gourmet food lovers. I’ve had most things on the menu, and can honestly say I’ve really enjoyed them all. Bonus points for the fresh, crunchy pickles & quality chips & drinks variety. The owner is super nice, as are the staff she employs.

Love the BBQ chic jalepeno pizza….. And one of the owners, you can probabaly guess which one. Haha.
DE-Licious!!!. Schlotzky’s is simply one of the best in Evansville. New steak sandwich in awesome. Meena and Ashish are fun people. Never got a bad sandwich there. Pizzas are GOOOOOOD! Meena runs a tight ship as Ashish is always in trouble with her. A+++++ Recommendations!Bob P.
