Service sucked and the food was horrible. Im still wondering if my chicken hadnt fell on the floor and put back on my plate. I will never go back. Lol to say the least……
Tonight was my first visit to Show-Me’s, and will also be my last. We had to wait twenty minutes before we could finally track down a waitress to even get a drink order in, and another twenty to order our food. We got the fried pickles and wings, both of which were terrible. I took one bite of each and got extremely sick to my stomach–I couldn’t even stand the smell. The restaurant seemed dirty and the waitresses weren’t even wearing shorts, just bikini bottoms and low cut shirts. No one I was with appreciated that, the waitress just kept pushing up her cleavage for the men in the group to see–and even THEY were disgusted. The whole place seemed cheap and filthy and is not a place I recommend going.
AWFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!. I and several others went there to the West Side Show-Me’s to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and she opted for the free fishbowl drink. They had requested to hold onto her ID as she drank the fishbowl (not unusual, keeps people from just getting fishbowl and not more food/more drinks). After finishing our meal, the restaurant manager came to our table to tell us that he accidentally handed her ID to another person, and that the person cannot be contacted.After asking for reimbursement for the lost ID, the manager told us to LITERALLY fornicate ourselves and told us that if the birthday girl did not pay her tab (a measly 36.34 before 10$ tip) that he would have the rental cop stationed there haul us off to jail. We opted to pay the waitress her tip, who at this point was visibly upset that her manager ruined her customer’s dining experience, and nothing more… and that we would be contacting the District Manager of Show-Me’s the following day.We did, and he said he would look into the matter and send us reimbursement for the replacing of the lost ID and tab ($58.34). This happened in March 2010 and we still have not received reimbursement. We’ve contacted the DM on four other occasions (roughly 40 calls placed before we spoke to him in person) and he still promises reimbursement of ID costs and tab.AVOID THIS PLACE
I get it…but i don’t. Sooooo this is hooters with worse food and less clothes!?! Hey, I wasn’t expecting much but come on…I was with some business associates and we were looking for a fun night out. The food was worse than the service and I felt like i was sitting in the middle of a health code violation. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else
West is best!. The west side show-me’s is never any different but that’s ok. Go there for a birthday and you’ll get a free fishbowl of whatever your heart desires! french fries are actually really good too!
