A forever wait…. Ordered online for a philly steak spud and brownies. Placed order at 6 p.m. I called East Side Spuds at 7 p.m. Was told the order was on it’s way out the door. Called back at 7:45, as the order hadn’t arrived yet. Spoke to a manager, who said that the order was just being put in at 7, when I called. Therefore, the employee I spoke to the first time lied rather than telling me that the order was just then being prepared. Manager said he didn’t have the authority to do anything to correct the mistake, though he admitted he was standing right beside the employee who I spoke to on my first call. This clearly means that the manager knew that the employee lied to a customer, seriously…this is the worst way to do business! The manager did offer me the owner’s number, but by this point I’m just finished with this place. Very disappointed to deal with this for a baked potato that I wanted to make dinner easier after 12 hours at work on Saturday.
