My favorite Chinese in Evansville!. In the last week that we discovered this restaurant, we were feeling brave and ordered something new every day.Every flavor of their fried rice that I have tried has been delicious. (Chicken, Vegetable, Pork.) Their sweet and sour chicken actually tastes like chicken. The rice has a fantastic flavor to it and is more than just bland orange or yellow fried rice with frozen onions, peas, and carrots in it. It’s brown, it’s soft, and it doesn’t dry out as soon as it hits the air. WAY BETTER THAN CRAZY BUFFET COULD EVER HOPE TO BE!!!!<3 Yum!
Love this place. Best and least expensive chinese food in evansville, staff is a little callous but for food this good I could care less. Huge portions and you can’t beat the lunch specials!!
The worse Crab Ragoon. They have a very dirty place, and they also have the worst crab ragoon i have ever tasted, the egg roll was great but the whole place overall is an F for failure
This place is awesome. My family has been eating here since I was a kid and we love it. Huge portions and very affordable. Hot and spicy shrimp is amazing! Also, really good egg rolls (which are hard to find if you ask me). My only issue is the staff are SUPER rude! They don’t seem to like the customers at all. Once a woman answered a personal call while in the middle of taking my boyfriends order! Bad customer service, but honestly worth it for some great food.
It’s a little hole in the wall place, but don’t let that fool you. The beef fried rice was pretty good.
A hidden, but great place to eat. Taste of China is a small asian cuisine dine-in and carry-out restaurant on the west side of Evansville. The owner might be seem a little bit impatient when he just takes your order and hands your things without smiling a lot and thanking you, but the food is genuinely good and reasonably priced. The portion sizes are also good considering the price and you can get a large amount of food for only about $6 if you order one of the lunch specials. In the end, if you’re on the west side and you’re in a mood for chinese, Taste of China is the restaurant to go to.
Best take out Chinese food in Evansville. I will definitely going back for more beef with broccoli soon. You get so much food for a small price, perfect for us college kids!
