My husband and I went to dinner with my sister and husband tonight. We made a reservation for 6pm Friday night. When we arrived we were seated immediately in a side room near the salad bar. Our waiter came over to our table and got our drink order and told us about the specials. I decided on the 12 oz. Ribeye ($26.95). My husband got the chopped steak ($14.95 + $1.99 for the salad bar). Both my sister and her husband got the New York Strip ($20.95). Once we ordered we headed for the salad bar. I was surprised that the only lettuce they had was shredded ice burg. They had some spinach, but it didn’t look great. Everything I tried on the bar was good though.When we got back from the salad bar there was a loaf of bread and herbed butter on the table. The bread was warm and the butter was really good. When our steaks arrived my husband was disappointed in his chopped steak. It seemed no more than a hamburger without the bun. It was maybe an 8 oz. and appeared to be pre-pattied, not made in house. Our steaks however, we delicious and our waiter was very attentive, filling our drinks and clearing our plates. For the price, it would be nice to have table clothes on the table and a better lettuce selection on the salad bar. All in all a nice night out with my sister and her husband.
