Yum! Every soup I’ve tried there has been delicious. The staff is always friendly. It is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Evansville.
Chicken pot pie! Yum!
The soups themselves are very tasty and there is a great selection of them to choose from. The service, though, needs major improvement. Their system of getting food to the customers seems very inefficient. And they’ve appeared to be way understaffed on the few times I’ve been in.
What a day!… A New Favorite Place to Go:). It is a nice place, vibrant colors, smells really good, very clean, very friendly staff,I could try soup samples before ordering .The salad I ordered was nicely arranged, very fresh and crisp. I had ginger butternut squash, served cold.This is a nice restaurant, nice music and very cozy spot. Staff are helpful, and they have this nutrition info you can look it up. We enjoyed our first visit. Coming back soon and referring all my friends for a nice healthy option for sure.
Delicious soup and samples before you buy them!
It’s not soup, it’s Zoup!. The title being an actual quote overheard while dining, by the way.I’ve been to Zoup three times, and have always left satisfied. I love the Asian salad and the Greek flatbread, and every one of the soups I’ve sampled or ordered has been very flavorful. Great place for lunch! They also have Gold Peak tea on tap, which I personally find to be a big bonus.
Zoup review. I have been wanting to try Zoup (Evansville) for a while and I finally stopped in there today for lunch. The soups all looked delicious, but I opted for the healty choice and went with a salad…mistake. I ordered the Club, which sounded really good, especialy since I was starving! I got it to go, which seemed to take a lot longer than I expected. The lady working put my salad together in a plastic to-go bowl and it sat on the counter. I waited and waited, and the employees past by it several times. Finally, they got to it and handed it to me. I was wondering why they couldn’t have just handed it to me instead of placing it on the counter for almost 10 mins. Anyway, about the food, I was very disappointed with the salad. Most of the greens were wilted and had a lot of brown yucky spots and it tasted old. It was mostly the stalks instead of the leafy part. The wrong cheese was used (bleu cheese instead of gorgonzola cheese). Grilled chicken comes on the club salad, but I only got about 3 peices that were the size of a quarter. The pieces were fatty and all gristle. The boiled egg slices were actually good. In the end, I was left feeling less than satisfied and still hungry. I will go back and try the soups and hope that I have a better experience.
