Tony’s is better than Benny’s any day. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve eaten Impellizzeri’s since I was old enough to remember. Heck I’ve even sat and watched them both stretch dough and shared bowls of pasta with them. And trust me when I say Benny serves a good pie, but when you set them side by side, in my book Tony wins every time. I was heart broken when tony closed his Louisville location, and a few years went buy when there wasn’t a slice of either to be had unless you got a dinner invite. I was glad to see Benny reached out and reopened the Louisville legend again, but when I heard Tony opened back up, I now make my pilgrimage to Sellersburg / New Albany and its worth every drop of gas. This is the kind of pizza that will change the way you think about pizza. Call ahead if you getting the Impellizzeri’s deep dish (this can take a while to cook). Also Plan on spending time there (it old world tradition and values) this ain’t PJ’s drive thru pizza. And the quality price is reflected in the quality product. So cheap isn’t on the menu, but its affordable none the less. This is without a doubt the BEST PIZZA that has ever graced my palate. Hands down, at all, ever!!!!! Do you self a favor, If you in Louisville, make the trip. If your in Sellersburg / New Albany, consider your self lucky and visit often and support this legend of pizza.

Wow! Wanted pizza the other night and noticed a new place in my area so we tried it out. We are so happy Tony has moved into my neighborhood! This place is unbelievable. Everything is made from scratch so you have to wait a bit but it is so worth it. Hello – homemade meatballs! The price is up there but again, it’s worth it. The customer service was just as good too! Our waitress was so nice and so helpful. You will not be disappointed with this place.

De-Lish. My husband and I stopped by Sat., May 14th for dinner. We started of with the garlic bread styx, a small deluxe regular crust pizza and the finished the meal with an order of the Sinamon Styx. There is a reason they are spelled SINamon! The pizza was fabulous and we stil had half a pizza to take home. We also took home half of the garlic bread styx that are served on a small pizza tray swimming in garlic butter. The SINamon Styx are sinful and addictive. We love them, we ate a few at the restaurant then took the rest home to enjoy for breakfast the next day. Their Deep Dish are AWESOME but it will be a 30 minute wait. You have to try everything! So glad Tony is now in Indiana!

Great pizza. It does take a while to prepare and bake pizza like this. Deep dish had a thin crust but was very full of toppings and lots of cheese. Very good and certainly more authentic than the chain store varieties that most of us are accustom to expecting.

Impellizzeri’s Pizza, Impellizzeri’s Price. It was a good pizza. We had a traditional with pepperoni, ham and pineapple along with cheese bread, which was a big as a pie. All were very good. Just didn’t realize that the price would be pretty steep for all of it.

Nothing special. We had the pizza. It took over two hours from the time of ordering for it to be ready. The veg pizza was all pickled vegetables, nothing fresh, the garlic cheese bread was okay. Not worth the price, when I could have gone to Rocky’s with the family for the same price.
