Great sushi and hibachi meals. Eat dinner(& lunch) here quite often, one of our favorites for sushi. Not quite sure why the negative reviews, certainly doesn’t deserve them. I don’t know about the buffet, we come for the sushi which is great! So are the hibachi shrimp and steak meals. If you want a cheap buffet then you can go to those other places! Yes, its quiet and not a lot of people sometimes…I hope it sees more business and I look forward to the one being put in Greenwood at the mall soon:)
I’m told it’s good for the area. Great sushi. I love the effort they put into their rolls and the quality of their fish was really fresh. The prices were good, I’d say it’s the best sushi I’ ve ever had, but it’s definitely worth the price. new owner made a lot of change
Very disappointed. The worst steak I have ever had and it was filet megion went for Valentines Day made reservations lol that wasn’t necessary o don’t like sushi but sushi tasted great compared to our dinners
Dont go. Ive given it many chances. it is the worst. dont waste ur money unless u dont know better. they suck and the product is sub sub par.
Personally my husband & I like it a lot, I have not tried the buffet but we have had some sushi which was really good, the clear soup, hibachi chicken and shrimp is good plus you get tons & the house salad has the best dressing I have ever had at any Japanese place..plan to go next week too 🙂
A Let Down. I have to say I was looking forward to trying out a new place for sushi on the Southside. The reviews here were pretty positive. We were the only ones dining in this night. Seeing the very little buffet they had and it not once being replenished during our dinner was such a turn off. Of course we opted for ordering off of the menu. Soup and salad were good and fresh. Hubs ordered a hibachi entre and it was ok, pretty heavy on the soy sauce though. I ordered sushi and it was just ok. It reminded me exactly of the sushi you get at the Chinese buffets. Tobiko from a pkg that was obvioiusly altered in color to make it look more presentable, but it just looked fake. The salmon sushi I ordered was good though, albeit quite small in comparison to others.
Been several times for sushi. Good food, great value. Will return.
