Save yourself the trouble.... 91% approval rate must mean the food is great, right?! Wrong. We got a variety of dishes, all of which proved to be sket…

Delivery.... I used to spend $50 a week there (always delivery). Then about a year ago I called and they told me they won't deliver during dinner time…

We got take out from here because my grandkids wanted some for dinner. The chicken and brocolli is the same as you get at just about any other Chinese place. The honey chicken must have been over cooked or something – it was pretty touch. Grandkids had a hard time chewing it. Some had to spit it out. The chicken fried rice was nothing special. Crab Rangoons and vegetable spring rolls were good. Not great, but good. If it weren’t for the grandkids liking this place, we probably wouldn’t go back.
The price kills it for me. Otherwise, nice people. Look everybody, as I’ve mentioned before in my previous reviews, Chinese Food is Chinese Food. There is no difference place to place. So it was with that in mind that it occured to me, as I was ordering my curry chicken from Long River two days ago, that the price I was paying ($8.50) was really unnecessary because I could easily just go down the street to the Chinese Buffet and get all I wanted to eat Chinese for the same, if not less, price. Granted, I don’t think they have curry chicken, but they do have lighter options which is what I was trying to go for. Now the $8.50 price wasn’t quite that price when I paid, and I think it might have been due to a military discount, so I ended up paying a little bit more than $7. They have no fountain soda system, it’s simply grab whatever you want out of a refrigerator nearby (spoiler alert, it was 5 kinds of soda and two kinds of bottled water). So seriously, if you really like General Tso’s Chicken or Sweet and Sour or any of the other kind of typical Chinese food dishes, do yourself a favor and go to the buffet down the street and save some money or get more full.
My fav Chinese place in franklin. We always get the hot and spicy chicken. Always fresh and huge portions, definitely worth going out of the way.
I love this restaurant so much! It’s so fabulous. The owners are always nice to me and my fam whenever we come in. The generals tsos chicken is THE bomb diggity. This is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had
I spent $15 on burbon chicken, pork fried rice and sweet biscuits. I couldn’t eat the rice or biscuits, it tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I ate some of the chicken but the sauce was so sweet that it hurt my teeth. I should have went to the Great Wall ! I only went to Long River because I was driving right by it. Yuk !
Great food. I hate Chinese food because of the creepy clear sauce and sodium overload. My husband loves it, therefore I always try new places. This place is great. It’s fresh, the sauce is normal looking, and the hot and sour soup is some of the best I’ve had.
It best Chinese food in the town .They are Bourbon chicken and Mongolian beef can beat any restaurant. My family order food over 8 years at long river .We are love this restaurant!
