went here for the first time. at first it was a bit off-putting that the front ‘dining room’ was abandoned and doesn’t look used. Once we realized there was a 2nd dining room in the back we were good. It is like being at home with wooden dining room tables and chairs.the menus were a bit dirty. they were also a bit confusing about what some things cost or what they came with because they do this ‘buffet’ which from what we could tell is you order the main dish you want and then the salad, soups, sides and desserts are on the buffet. limited selection but in the time we were there they brought out fresh food fairly often.Looks like it is a place frequented by older folks. I had the grilled chicken and a baked potato. It was seasoned well. It wasn’t super expensive either. My friend had a tenderloin sandwich and thought it was really good. She said in her opinion it was better than Arni’s in Indianapolis.
Good home cooked meals. Have been there twice. both times the wait staff was extreamly friendly. The buffet looked small, but had a nice variety of food and deserts! Resonable prices and nice atmosphere.
Best place to eat in Greenfield for your money, great food, nice service, I love the fire place.
We had an extremely good experience here. They were great with our 16 month old son, and brought us whatever we needed. It’s classic diner food, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns. The husband had fried fish and loved it. Our server was sweet, and most of the patrons seemed to be frequent visitors here. We will definitely be back.
Service is very friendly. We visited this place just because of its reviews. Decor is old fashioed (juke box, wringer washer, old cars, metal lunch boxes, etc). The food was very good. I had the country fried steak and my friend had the tenderloin. Both were delicious. We went on a tuesday night and they were serving free slkce of pie with the meal…homemade pie.
Good food, service, Friday & Sat nights live music. Home style cooking
