This is a place that I thought would be a decent no-frills place to get some hamburger and hot dogs. However, the hamburger was fairly greasy and not anything unique or memorable from the hundreds of other places you can get a hamburger. The hot dog was better in comparison but also not unique. If I lived within a few miles I might come back here but I wouldn’t go out of my way or choose this over pretty much any fast food place that serves the same food.
I LOVE this place! I love that they use farm fresh food and they make every dish to order. The root beer they serve is the best I’ve ever had! Their ice cream is so good, too! It’s a drive-in, but they do have tables outside of the actual shop. In the winter, they close off and heat up the table area so you’re able to eat there without freezing. The staff are all friendly, down to earth, polite and attentive. I love the atmosphere here and will continue to be a patron forever!
My friends and I have been traveling about the state to find the best breaded tenderloin in the state. The Mug has one of the best. We were impressed with how clean it tasted. I’d highly recommend eating here.
We love The Mug! My husband said the onion rings were amazing. My BBQ pork sandwich was great. LOVE the fresh cut fries. Root Beer float is made with Sprecher Root Beer and the ice cream is delicious. Pork Tenderloin is delicious. We’ve had very nice, quick service every time. Everything is made fresh to order, and there’s signs that tell you that. We are waiting for quality. If you aren’t wanting to wait or quality food, head to McD’s for the rubber burgers. I love the farm to plate concept. Overall, I will return again and again. Support local, live local, enjoy local
Always have an amazing experience here. Food is always hot and fresh. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but you pay for quality. Try the pulled pork and the root beer. You won’t be disappointed.
Terrible service. I tried the place two times last year and waited an hour and a half approximately each time for food and they messed up the order both times. My son told me that they deliver now so I thought I would give that a try. I waited on hold so long that I realized it was tying up my phone line. So then after about 15 minutes I calledback and the line was busy.
