Visit this location at least 3 times a month . We’ve found the best time to eat here is just after they open for lunch . The closer you get to the dinner hour the worse the items on the steam tables get . Dried up , empty pans . Went tonight Saturday January 9th at 7:30 some pans already empty , dried up food , steam tables edges not kept clean , got 4 pieces of shrimp , the rest looked like it was from yesterday . There was never any fresh brought out while we were there . crab rangoons pan stayed empty . We spent $25.46 for two people . We get waited on at Bob Evans for less than that and never disappointed . The girl that was supposed to be tending the steam tables was to busy on the laptop in the corner behind the counter to tend to business . In search of a new place to eat .
Disappointing…after reading the great reviews we were looking forward to a good experience and we did not receive one…the food was over cooked, the sushi was bland and the service was almost nonexistent…at one point both servers were playing games on their phone and ignoring all their patrons…I had to get up and interrupt our server’s game in order to get a drink refill for my wife. Just all around disappointed and we will not be going back
Great Buffet!. Went there around 11a on a weekday. It wasn’t crowded at first but really picked up by 11:30. The food was all hot and everything was delicious. To my surprise, they had fresh sushi and it was very, very good. They actually had a man behind the bar making it fresh. I was impressed. The have many options to choose from, each I tried was delicious, fresh and hot. They even had soup (egg drop and hot and sour from what I saw), lots of desserts (cookies, brownies, jello, wafers, cream puffs, chocolate and tapioca pudding, etc.) and plenty of sushi rolls to choose from plus all the standards: rice, noodles, general tsos, crab rangoon, beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli etc. All the employees were incredibly friendly but not overbearing. For a $5.99 lunch buffet, this place can’t be beat. It doesn’t look like much from outside but it’s truly delicious and a great deal. Don’t come expecting 5 star fare, but if you’re ready for all you can eat Chinese food, you won’t be disappointed. Also, for parents: I brought my infant. They have high chairs and the staff was very friendly and interacted with her. Obviously infants are messy and while I did clean up after her, the staff was still very gracious and accomodating. FYI, no changing tables in the bathrooms.
Good but really. Not bad food but someone else commented that they play five songs-correction it is only one. Wtf
Good food. I have eaten at many place like this, but by far this one is very good. Food has flavor and service is good. Very good sushi, this place has pretty good quality. I will continue to go here. pricing is good as well. very happy to have found this place
Far and away the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to in years. I come here pretty much once a week. For the love of everything holy will they please change the music. They’ve had the same f-ing 5 songs playing all day everyday for the past 8 weeks now. Not sure how the employees are dealing with it. The US military has used this same technique to torture hostage takers in Panama so it would be nice of the manager to change it. If everyone who reads this would complain maybe they’ll change it.
Role-y Cow!!. This is a cozy little buffet tucked away in a strip mall. We received a friendly welcome when we arrived. They have a good amount of dishes available…at first glance it seems small, but they use smaller trays for the food. Smaller trays, more options…and if it happens to go empty…they re-fill fairly quick. They also have a large selection of sushi rolls. We took our youngest daughter here this weekend. (She’s actually open to trying new things now…wow.) She really enjoyed the calamari. It was nice and tender, cut into thinner rings, and was nicely seasoned…with just a hint of heat. Her next favorite was the coconut shrimp. My wife liked the selection of tempura vegetables. (Not something you see often at a buffet.) Her favorites where the chicken & mushrooms, and the coconut shrimp. The seafood was cooked very well. The calamari… which I mentioned earlier and the coconut shrimp; which was nice and tender, the coating was light and crispy, and the coconut sauce wasn’t overly sweet or thick. I liked their Tokyo roll. It’s crispy like a spring roll, but the filling was a blend of shrimp, chicken and veggies. They have a nice drizzle of sauces over the top. It was a nice, tasty little surprise to find. Their sushi was good. They focus on maki sushi…rolls and rolls and rolls. They have a larger variety to choose from, and all done very well. Their rolls are on the smaller side, so they are easier to eat in one bite. The nigiri sushi…not so much.A nice lunch…and a definite thumbs up!
