Military discount was nice, food is constantly improving.. I’m such a sellout for going to Applebee’s. But strangely, they are getting better. My wife and I have been doing the whole New Year’s thing by ordering off of their low-calorie meals, which clock in at 500 calories or less. I was impressed with my chicken dish with sauteed onions and red potatoes and the amount of flavor they managed to leave in it. My wife liked her shrimp salad and my kids like the pizza bread. The best part was that they offer a military discount (but not all Applebees do).Compared to the TGIFridays that’s also attached on the mall, this Applebee’s is actually very nice on the inside. I felt it was clean an up-to-date on the inside. So if you ever have to go to an Applebee’s, then this is probably the one to go to.
We patroness this location on 1/18/14. One of our guest went early to get a table for our party of 7 at 3:00. When we arrived we were greeted with attitude. First they took one table and jammed 8 chairs around it. No way 4 adults could sit around what is normally meant for two per side. They rearranged the tables. took our drinks and finally came back minus 1. We asked three times for the missing drink and finally it came. Then we placed our orders. 35 mins after being seated. Appetizers came but they were not ours. A second set came- they two were missing our full order finally an hour and 1:15 we get the missing appetizer.,when our meals came, one was missing as well and they ended up having to remake it. It was delivered almost 2 hours after we arrived. One guest ordered dessert and that never arrived. To top it off, our waitress was overheard telling a fellow co-worker she just got yelled at for drinking at work and said she only had a couple cause she was stressed and needed to feel normal. Terrible service. I will not go back to this location.
Not too bad really!. Yes, we know that this is mediocre food and I used to hate Applebees, but I’m beginning to like them a lot more than I used to, but maybe that has something to do with the fact that they have Long Island’s Brewtus size for cheap. And they are THE BEST with strawberry flavoring added! Holy crap…the best tasting mixed drink!! If you get their long island, please ask to add strawberry flavor…its AMAZING. We always categorize Applebee’s with: Chilis, TGI Fridays, O’Charleys etc. But Applebee’s is becoming our favorite for that type of food. And surprisinly their French Onion Soup is waaaaay delicious. It’s a lot better than high dollar places that make theirs from scratch, which is sad really, but what can you do. Their french dip sliders are also amazing. I would be too scared to try a steak from here, but as far as sandwiches and bugers and appetizers go, they have tasty food! The bartenders at this location are always nice!
