Decent bbq for a chain restaurant and it’s quick and fast. This will not impress a serious bbq lover but it gets the job done and can help satisfy a bbq craving.
BBQ is just okaynothing really to write home about… However the sides are AMAZING. Hush puppies, fries, potato salad, green beans, Mac n cheese… These are all sides that I have found to be great. I haven’t had the time to try all of the sides they offer there, but of all of those that I have tried, I haven’t been disappointed. Sweet tea there is very sweet. A little too sweet for my tastes, but as the ice melts and waters it down, it is quite good too. If you’re on the fence, I’d give it a try.
I was in Indy for my son’s birthday, Saturday Oct. 17th. He wanted to go to his favorite restaurant, City Barbeque. We got there right as you opened and were greeted by the nicest young lady. I’m not from Indy so I had questions about your menu and she was SO helpful. I mentioned it was Justin’s birthday and after our meal she brought us (my son, his wife,and 4 children) 2 BIG pieces of delicious chocolate cake!!We had a great time and the food was absolutely wonderful. I would like to sincerely say thank you to Jasmine Rodriquez. You truly made our visit to City Barbeque a great one!!!
