Not bad for a chain BBQ joint. It’s good for a quick BBQ fix but it’s not my first choice for great BBQ. I’d rather drive to Nora and hit my favorite BBQ spot (check my reviews to see what it is.)
Okay (this review was for (Smokey Bones). Sorry03 Jul, 2015Okay. Nothing grand sandwiches where dry my big peeve was I played a couple of games on the game kiosk and when we paid the the bill it cost $1.99 I thought it was just something cool they had while you were waiting on your food and thus old saying nothings FREE all I can say is WOW.
Awful. We went for lunch and order nachos usually we enjoy this appetizer but it was mostly lettuce and chips, when we were half way through our meal we noticed that the chips appeared to have mold on them the manager assured us that this was how the chips were baked I have never seen this before he did comp our half of meal that we ate, never ask us if we wanted anything else ( our waiter did ask us he was very kind) I will never return to this restaurant again nasty
Awesome. I like this place. You have to try the mac n cheese as a side with your meal. I think you’ll be surprised! Everything else is also really good. The chicken is great and the BBQ is even better. Prices aren’t all that bad either. Service is hit or miss but I feel like the quality of the food outweighs that, and the Wilbur Sauce, which is one of the sauce options on the table, is GREAT! Try it with the chips.
Good food, Great service. My fiance and I were in Greenwood for a stay-vacation, We decided to try Famous Dave’s and were pleasantly surprised. I am an avid griller, I love BBQ. My fiance on the other hand doesn’t enjoy meat very much or any type of meat with bones in it. So we decided to get carry out because of the issues of people eating meat off of the bone, we decided on the meal for two (which seemed appropriate). It was massive, half a chicken, half a slab of ribs, half a pound of brisket, two sides(mac and cheese, and green beans), (which were on the small side) 4 ears of corn (way over cooked and watery), two corn bread muffins, an endless supply of bbq sauce and wet naps. My fiance didnt find the corn very appealing or the green beans, but I thought the green beans were alright, better with salt and pepper. The Mac and cheese we both thought was weird but good. The meat was moist, well smoked and delicious. They seemed to skimp on the bbq sauce during the prep but that was easily solved with a few packs of sauce. The meal totalled at $43.35 and we left a generous tip for our carry out attendee, she was kind, helpful and nice.We plan on eating there again, and would suggest this place to friends and family. (get the togo its easier and much less expensive.)
Only BBQ joint in America that doesn’t have APPLES as a side. Used to and they were good.
Best barbeque in town. Anytime we crave barbeque ribs, this is the place that comes to mind. Their house sauces are soo delicious, I can’t decide on which one’s my favorite. My kids love it there as the staff makes them feel so special. Love the place and its vibe.
