Ive always preferred Carinos to Olive Garden ever since Carinos opened. Ive never been to OG since! This location used to be my favorite but once the Columbus location opened Ive been dining there (its a lot closer to home.) Carinos is always a good dining experience. Theyve never let me down.
The best ever. I have eaten at Johnny Carino’s several times. My first experience was n El Paso Texas, but I frequent the restaurant in Greenwood, Indiana. I live over an hour away, but whenever I am in the area, I eat there. The food is delicious and I especially enjoy the Italian Nachos. I really enjoy Olive Garden, but always chose Johnny Carino’s over Olive Garden if I have the option.Connie
I have always enjoyed going to Carinos! The food is beyond amazing my personal favorites being the eggplant Parmesan, Grilled chicken Bowie festival, and the baked cheese tortelloni. The staff is friendly and knowledgable going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. If you haven’t been you need to try it out!!
I had the lemon chicken…it was good but not restaurant good. it didn’t do anything special to the taste buds. Kinda boring and the menu to me was also boring.
Slow service, but great food. This has turned into one of my favorite Italian places in Indy. I’ve made the trip here several times and have had great experiences with each visit. The food has been of great quality; very fresh, full of flavor and very reasonably priced considering the portions you get. The only negative I can really point out would be the service. At times, it can be a bit slow, even when their dining room isn’t that full. That aside, I still recommend them. The service doesn’t take away from how good the food is.
Good bread. Good service. Cat food. Fazolis is better.
