Good subs and fries. The cheesesteak is awesome here. My wife loves their pizza sub too. employees have always been friendly. The best part about this location is it always feels like the 4th of July there. lots of flags and patriotic decoration all year round.
HOLY CRAP, it’s like a Quizno’s meets a Five Guys!. I had no idea what concept Penn Station was, even though I’ve seen plenty around this whole area. Too be honest, I thought it was just a Subway knockoff. Boy was I wrong! This place is great! They slice everything fresh to make your sandwich. They also add the toasted aspect of all of their sandwiches which, in my opinion, is a must. If you like your sandwiches/subs untoasted, then you must be a boring person. But each of our sandwiches, the Dagwood and the Chicken Parm, were terrific. The bread was crisp on the outside, yet chewy once it was in your mouth. The ingredients were all fresh and tasted great. As an added insult to my scathing review of the Cannoli Queen, where i bashed their Italian food for lack of flavor, they could perhaps take a page from the tomato sauce that was used on Penn Station’s Chicken Parm. As a final thought, I think that Sub places have the hardest deal when it comes to what to offer customers for a side dish. Most places elect to simply go with potato chips, for better or worse. However, I really applaud the fact that Penn Station offers not only french fries (to say a big f-you to the norm), but FRESH CUT french fries in the healthier alternative, peanut oil! They were fantastic (although a little more salt would’ve made my taste buds smile and my blood pressure frown).Overall, well done Penn Station, I will spread the word of your goodness far and wide.
