In town for business and this place was recommended by a former local. Thursday night was pretty dead, but I don’t mind that too much. Had the beet goat cheese appetizer. Not much flavor there and it was brought out with the Rev salad which sounds like a great combination of ingredients but for some reason didn’t have a whole lot of flavor either. My main course came in strong with the blackened shrimp (which I don’t think was really blackened) with a black bean salad and a chorizo tamale. Very nice combination there and it made up for the appetizer and salad. Wish they would have spaced my three courses out a bit. Couple of biers were decent. Nothing caught my eye on the dessert menu and was disappointed about that. Overall not a bad place, but probably won’t put it on my must go back list next time in town.
Swanky and chill atmosphere with good music. The popcorn and cotton candy was a lot fun and tasty! We had wonderful attentive service with each plate composed beautifully. Rock Shrimp and Foie Gras appetizers were delicious however in our opinion skip the chewy, overly sauced skirt steak and keep in mind much smaller portions than one might be used to.
Never again! Went in and wa…. Never again!Went in and waited at hostess stand forever. The hostess and the bartender just stared at us and turned away. I’ll never be back.
A pinnacle of foodie sham restaurants. No atmosphere, no service, no fun, yet they think their quirky food preparation will carry them. It won’t. They get a little credit only because they are trying to do this in Greenwood, the culinary wasteland.
Menu needs a lot of work. Don’t waste your time. We are small plate people , but 13.00 for four slices of basically cured meat roll , 4 tiny bites of cheese and the tiny peppers I would not bother to harvest off my pepper plants at the end of the season do not make a small plate! Oh I forgot the awful and messy chutney on one end of the board. I’m saying I would not think this dish was enough to serve one much less two!! We were in paris in October and stopped at a pub close to our hotel each night and paid 22.00 euro for four times the amount of food on this plate. Not to mention the quality was awesome. What we had a revery tonight was a culinary joke!! I could put that much on a plate for 50 cents! Could you shave those four slices of meat stick any thinner!? I hope you make it because downtown greenwood needs something like this, but I think you need to look at why taxman in Bargersville is thriving!!! Won’t be back until you figure out your market!!!
Give it a try!. My husband and I dined on a Friday night. It was very busy but the wait staff was prompt and courteous. For appetizers we had the pigtails, and the crab cake bruschetta. Pigtails were very flavorful, but not a lot of meat.(But it IS a pig tail, not suppose to have a lot). The crab cake bruschetta was delicious, I did not want to share with my husband, but I did. For an entree my husband had the beef cheek. He was not thrilled with it. Very small portion and the flavor was just so-so. I had the short ribs with sweet potato and brussel sprouts. I highly recommend this dish. The meat was tender and flavorful and the veggies were perfectly cooked. At the end of the meal, a bowl of flavored cotton candy was brought to the table. I loved it, but then I am 6 year old in a 51 year old body. I would recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be go back.I am so glad there is a unique eatery in Greenwood and hope to see more in the future.
