My husband and I stopped at YiaYia’s on December 17th for breakfast. The server provided pleasant and efficient service. We were especially impressed with the qualify of the food and the amount we were served. We could not eat it all, and would highly recommend this restaurant. The cost was economical in comparison to other restaurants where we eat occasionally. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, that pleasantly depicted the season.
Huge portions, good food, the staff is always nice and efficient. I love the omelettes and any other dish with eggs, my husband likes the waffles. The pancakes are a little different, very sweet.
Welp, this place had changed owners awhile ago, and things hadnt changed much. But recently they have changed the menu. Now its not worth coming anymore.. sorry, not paying 20 dollars for a decent size breakfast i can get at cracker barrel for half that.I wont be back.
Food is good yet over priced and tight. Came in and sat down to eat at 10:55 am the senior menu was til eleven I was ready to order at 10:59 and was told we missed the cut offOur bill was 26.00 u can eat at flapjacks get just as good food and service for less
Great meal. Tried this place for first time, after just moving to Greenwood. Ordered one of the Skillets, it was great, portions are huge, waitress was new, bit very good. I will come back again, and would recommend to anyone that is looking to get away from the chain restaurants.
My husband and I just tried it for the 1st time & it was outstanding! We had one if the skillets & French toast. I will definitely go back. The service was also very good!
Tied with Hospital food…. The service was good but the food was disgusting! Large portions will not get me to return if it’s large portions of runny scrambled eggs and dried bacon(not fried). I nearly chocked as I bit into my bacon and the pieces were so dried out that it was stuck in my throat. I was excited to try my pancakes because of the name of the restaurant declaring to be the original pancake house. The pancakes were dry and tasteless and sucked up all the syrup within seconds. Shame on you for calling yourself a pancake house and not serving delicious pancakes! The last hope on my plate was the hashbrowns which were mushy and tasteless. If I had to guess based on how quickly our food made it to the table, I would say the food is precooked and kept in warmers. We were there on a Sunday morning and the place was packed. I’m not sure how, but I would highly recommend not going to this so called pancake house and taking a trip up to Fishers to the Original Pancake House. I will never go back to Sophia’s!
