Have been a customer for over 30 years and always enjoyed the stuffed pizza.In the last few years, however, quality has dropped: the bottom crust on the last 3 pizzas was so thick that there was no room in the pie for filling.Contacted the owner twice, once privately and again via social media, only to be ignored and my comments deleted.Three strikes and you’re out!03 Dec, 2013Fantastic food and great customer service; they went out of their way to make what could have been a bad situation right. Fabulous sauce, but……….. Have been a steady customer for their deep-dish pizza for years, but no more. Time after time pizza has a bottom crust so thick and doughy that the sauce and other ingredients are overpowered.
Arrenellos has the worst customer service and high prices.. I have been a long time customer spending on average $150 a month at the Highland location but after tonight I will never again order from Arrenellos. We called to place our order tonight and asked that they be sure to pack the cucumber sauce as they had forgot on our last order. Our order was for $94 and when my Daughter arrived home with the food once again they forgot to pack the cucumber sauce. I called up to complain and the girl I was talking to put me on hold 4 different times and then said they would run the cucumber sauce out to us. I said that would be fine but it would be much easier to take my name and give me a discount on my next order as I live out in Lowell which is quite a drive from Highland. I was once again put on hold and when she came back on the phone she said we didn’t charge you for the sauce so there will be no credit and we will not be taking it out to you. That was how she justified not giving the credit to me. Not only terrible customer service but very high prices as well.
Love this pizza!. Awesome sauce. love the deep dish. to each his own opinion, and my opinion that this pizza rocks : ) !
Terrible food and service. We had an order delivered, and the pizza was delivered 30 minutes late and cold. The pizza was smeared all over the packaging, and was tasteless. After being put on hold for about ten minutes, I finally spoke with the manager. Never have I spoken to a more rude and careless manager in my life! She kept cutting me off, and even YELLED at me. I have never seen such an abhorrent example of customer service. I will never order from Arrenello’s again, and I will make sure that someone above this manager is aware of the disgusting customer service I received.
Best Pizza EVER!. Arrenello’s has the best pizza in all of Chicago… I’ve tried other places, and nothing comes close. If you like a sweet tomato sauce, then this is the pizza for you. Carry-out or delivery only, haven’t tried any of their other food in a long time as the pizza is just that good…
