Yummy lunch on a rainy day. Went here today for lunch for the first time and discovered a local gem. The cobb salad was rich with ham and other goodies and most salad dressings are home made. If they’re as good as the creamy garlic, they’ve got a winner. Staff goes out of their way to be courteous and helpful, even explaining menu changes. Nice atmosphere, and I will definitely be back.

Very good. Three of us stopped here this week, two had the French dip, I had the lake perch filets… all was good. Place is quite nice – only qualm is that there be no non-smoking area available. Service was prompt and friendly, with reasonable prices, and good decor and food. Worth a stop when in the area, and according to the two locals in the area, they highly recommended this restaurant too. The dark bread + honey butter as an appetizer was also excellent, with a quite tasty beef [good sized chunks] soup as a side too.
