New management and ownership have greatly improved the food and the service. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Someone managed to get in contact with Joe’s old cook and they relearned all the old recipes again. Yes, the strange, sweet salsa in squirt bottles is still there on each table, but I did get a very fresh tomato salsa served with my tortilla chips.
Mr.. I went to Acapulco Joe’s for Cinco de Mayo, you would think they would get that right ….NOT . After a two hour wait and several different excuses , our food arrives cold and horrible ( low grade dog food) . Cinco de Mayo celebrates the defeat of the French . if they ever have another battle , all they need to do to win, is serve this food . Mi Tres Amigos stands for three strikes and you are out . Our waitress left in the middle of the meal , and the new one could not make correct change , although the meal should have been compted.
