A Must Go if you’re in Indy!. This is a great place to dine with family, friends and coworkers on any occassion. The atmospere and vibe from this place is awesome! The service, from the hosts to the servers, is top notch. The food is some of the best pub grub you’ll experience anywhere. The breaded tenderloin and fish sandwich are the best you’ll find…the black bean soup is killer…dessert chimichanga is off-the-hook…and 60 beers on tap – 60 – with rotating craft beer selections make this THE place to depressurize after a long day at the office. General Manager Melissa Uhte’s passion for restaurant excellence makes this SoBro haunt a must-go anytime you’re in Indianapolis!

Fabulous selection of beers on tap, good food, reasonable prices. Try the Granny Smith Apple Salad….my favorite!

Would never come back to the Aristocrat. Had crab cakes for the appetizer and they tasted very greasy and lacked any real crab taste. The dinner was lackluster as well. The fish and chips (fries) disappointed as well. The batter for the fish did not have much of a flavor. The fries looked old or burned, but we’re soggy as if they soaked up too much grease. The dinner meal did not seem fresh. In fact, I would go as far to say that maybe the same, old grease had been used to cook the crab cakes, fries, and cod. Again, will never return and would not recommend the Aristocrat. Will warn others not to go there. One positive was that the server was friendly and attentive, although she seemed oblivious to the large portions of food left on the plate.

Great character. medeocre food. Went here with a group of friends for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and full of character. Now to the food. First they need to update their online menu because they no longer have many of those items. Second this restaurant has no focus- which may be a good or bad thing just putting it out there. They have everything from nachos, and Italian to British and German fare. I went for the cottage pie. I was expecting Shepard s pie which is what their online menu said however when we got there they did not have that. They also no longer have the mozz sticks btw. The cottage pie came with soup or salad. After treating their specialty soup which treated like it just came out of a can I opted for a salad which I thought would be safe. I choose the house salad which specified fresh mIxed greens tomatoes cucumbers croutons etc. With balsamic vinegar dressing. Got the salad and it was the crappy brown iceburg mix frim the bag. :/ this is one of my biggest pep peeves if it says fresh mixed greens it should be so. The waitress overheard me complain and disappeared for a few then returned with a new salad with romaine and spinach and apologized. The dressing wss pretty good. Then next course. Cottage pie. I was so excited for a cat iron pot to appear with what they had descRibed in the menu. Ground angus beef in a rich red wine gravy with fresh veggies topped with cheddar mash. What arrived was standard 80/20 greasy hamburger sauted with can or freezer veggies. .. however the mash on top was decent there was no rich red wine gravy :(. My guy got a bacon bbq cheeseburger which was pretty good. Hummas a friend had was ok standard out of the package. They did have a good choice of beers on tap. Prolly won’t go back.

Very good! Having recently moved to the area, we are hunting for a few go-to restaurants and The Aristocrat has not let us down. We’ve tried the gator roll, Reuben, BLT, kids and adult chicken fingers as well as fish and chips. All of these dishes have been very good!Great service! Friendly greeting…methinks we’ll be back many times!

If there’s a God this place will get a new menu. When it magically burnt down Satan shielded a menu from destruction so as to perpetrate food crimes on the good citizenry of SoBro.That being said I do love to cocktail here.

Great Pub. This is a Pub. Maybe the only real one around. Great new bar, great draught beers, good pub food. Remodel was a great success.
