Love this place!. The food is good and fresh. The salsa and sauce are unique. I constantly crave the tacos. Only con is noise level. Nothing absorbs the sound so people yell to be heard.

Fair food! This place is trying too hard to be unique!! Their tacos are okay! Their margaritas are way over priced and again okay! The reason people go is because it’s trendy!
Tacos could be really good, but they are just mediocre, which is too bad, I wonder if the owners taste the food?It’s still a nice place to have some chips and salsa and throw back some beers.
It was being on vacation.. Bakersfield is so very different than most places in Indianapolis. The wait staff and manager were friendly, trained and informed. The atmosphere was fun but not to young to throw this 60 + couple off. The menu was different and the food very good. The patio area is very clever and where the day a tiny bit cooler – we would have sat out there. As we left Bakersfield I told my husband that I felt like I had been on a mini vacation! Heck, we finally figured out the parking meters too. Get day!
Another great Bakersfield. Coming from Cincy I had to visit the one in Indy when in town, and it didnt disappoint, its larger than the one in Cincinnati but the food and atmosphere are just as good, best Guac ever, great Margaritas too. We stood outside on the patio which was great as it was packed inside and the evening was nice and warm and there was a great atmosphere out there. Will be back to both locations
Bakersfield, a.k.a. Rent a Bowl for Three Dollars… Please explain to me how I was just charged for 2 orders of chips and salsa. The salsa is on the table, the chip refills are free, and the waitress explained that the double charge was legit because THEY BROUGHT OUT A BOWL OF SALSA WITH THE CHIPS…the same salsa that’s in a squirt bottle on the table. That’s right, folks, I was charged an additional $3 to rent a second bowl. Had I kept the same bowl from the first time she brought out the chips and just refilled it from the bottle on the table, the second charge wouldn’t have happened. Ugh. The tacos are great, though. The service? Well…
