BBQ Heaven is now the oldest BBQ joint in Indy. As a result it is nearly legendary. That is not to say it is the best just the oldest. They have 3 locations, all small and all in places some folks refer to as the hood. Offering only carryout the menu is pretty typical. Ribs, tips, pulled butt, and even feet. They also serve chicken, hot links and fried beef bologna. I tried a pork sandwich with baked beans and coleslaw for $8.64, tax included. My sandwich was big, meaty and sweet. A pretty good sandwich. The beans were so so but the slaw was outstanding. Creamy and very peppery. I think by trying some of their other stuff my 3.0 score could possibly go up. But for the price I think the sandwich is a good deal just by itself. kosherhamandcheese.com
