Get the tenderloin!. Biggest, and best tenderloins in town!
This restaurant is great to visit during lunch hour. The service is fast but the employees are a little abrupt. Nothing that would keep me away from coming back. The pork tenderloin is amazing! It’s the best version around the indy area! The chili and wraps are good too.
Great lunch. Great place to duck in for lunch. Don’t see it for drinks, but food and service were really good. The atmosphere is unusual to say the least, but I’ll go back. For lunch.
Fish & Fries!. Working close to downtown Indy makes Bearcats a great and convenient place to meet for lunch. The short week put us there on Friday for a change. This was fine with me because it made me pick the Fish and Fries instead of the tenderloin (which is always excellent). I truly enjoyed the cod! The food here is always great, especially when you consider the price and location. The drama with the waitress yelling at the guy (customer?) about not making enough money made us a bit uncomfortable, but we will surely be back! Probably next Friday!
Bearcats. My husband and I enjoyed our lunch in the dining room portion of the restaurant. The tenderloin was excellent and the rueben fantastic. We were very satisfied with the service. Our server (gal with the backwards cap) was friendly and attentive. The only complaint we had was that the other server in the dining room had a terrible attitude. We asked her a couple of questions about the building and the location of the restrooms as we were leaving and she was quite rude and sarcastic. Overall we were very pleased with the food, service and prices and we will return.
Tenderloin. By far the best tenderloin in dowtown Indy!! Not a really attractive place on the inside or out, but who cares when they serve food like this. Have been about 3-4 times in the last couple of months – I say I will order something new everytime I go, but always end up ordering the tenderloin…until this last time and I ordered the chicken fingers! The batter was delicious. Also, you have to try the onion rings…..VERY GOOD! Will go back many times!
Good food and a close walk.. Working in close proximity to Bearcats along with the lack of other places to go in walking distance provided me with many chances to explore their menu. After many visits this place continues to consistently deliver good food at decent prices. We always make it a point to eat out in the warehouse portion (lunch only I believe) as the couple times we ate in the restaurant our service was very sub par and quite rude. The warehouse portion seems to provide a little more laid back atmosphere and MUCH nicer waitresses.As far as their food their Ruben, grilled chicken sandwich and hamburgers are excellent. Also, I do believe they make their own soups and I have yet to try one I didnt like!With the exception of their recent fry change, I would recommend this place to anyone.
