This place was terrible the waiter was rude my food was terrible I hated it she was saying we didn’t Oder things when we did it’s took forever to get our food
We are here this evening, 10-21-14. We were surprised to find the restaurant over half full at 5 pm on a Tuesday. My husband works with a man who knows the owners, so we figured we’d give it a shot. The menu is immense and the prices are decent. We aren’t drinkers so I didn’t really pay attention to the drink specials. I ordered a steak Caesar salad and my husband ordered chicken tenders and fries. The food took FOREVER to come out but when it finally did arrive, it was worth the wait! I ordered the full portion of the Caesar and I wish I hadn’t. It was easily enough salad for four people. The croutons were amazing, and the steak was large as well, probably an 8 oz steak. My only gripe about it was that I asked for the steak to be rare but it came out medium well. Still tender, though. My husband got chicken tenders and fries (at the recommendation of the server) and that portion was also easily enough for us to split. The chicken tenders were delicious and home made, as were the fries. The sauces they served with them were disgusting and straight out of the bottle (likely Heinz, as their logo was everywhere in the place.) skip the sauces if you order them; the tenders speak for themselves. I was a little put off that it was a $2 upcharge for fries and we weren’t told. For 1 soft drink and 2 entrees, it was $30. I was very impressed with the food but thought $30 was a bit much. We also felt quite bad for our waitress; she had about 10 tables at a time and was running around like crazy. If I wish they could change anything, it would be to turn the volume of the music down. It was SO loud. We were literally shouting at each other just to have a conversation. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.
Excellent. Been here twice and each time the food was excellent and the service was great. Have tried 3 items on the menu. The Big Daddy Double Bacon burger, The Philly cheesesteak, and the Italian beef. Portions are huge and the waitress was very attentive. I look out for groupons here often. Bravo Big Daddy!!!!
Made advance arrangements to go there with a group of 26 on a Monday evening. Confirmed arrangements the day before and day of the event. We were seated, then half the group was asked to move due to another party. Orders took one hour+ With many guests ordered served and finished in that time. At least three orders were wrong or incomplete. The group was about 60/40 for liking the food, but the service will not bring them back.
Kinda good!?! Service was awful!. Saw a write up in the paper about the Pot Roast nachos and decided to visit on Friday. Should of known to leave since our server appeared to be completely slammed. Took forever to get our drinks ordered much less our appetizer order placed and once our appetizers arrived they were cold. I blame management for this since it appeared she was only one of two servers there and looked to be the hardest working one there! On a Friday no less.Personally not a fan of pot roast so opted for the Loaded Nachos. Wasn’t very good. Basically a pile of nacho chips, cut up wilted lettuce, with some cheese and some kind of meat heaped into a bowl instead of on a platter. Annoyingly difficult to eat.The Polish Mistakes are a home made family favorite and was quite surprised that this was available. They were pretty good tasting. We normally only make with sausage versus their version with a mix of sausage and beef.Wanted to try the pizza but just couldn’t bring ourselves to invest anymore time after an hour into this place. Our server was MIA for sometime. Decided to pay at the bar where I was continued to be put off. Spotted our server and just gave her a $20 for the trouble. She was genuinely very apologetic. Not sure we’ll be back. Pix included…
If you like fried food and breathing smoke while you eat, go here. Onion rings frozen type. Fish and chips – fish is froze.
Overall, good bar. This bar has a lot of positivies, but there are some consisent negatives, too. The food is always very good and at a good value, too. Sometimes they’ll have good drink specials, but I think drink prices are a little pricey, overall. The atmosphere is very nice and they have just added about 14 brand new HD tv’s through the whole bar. While most things are good, the most consistent complaint I read about Bid Daddy’s and that I have experienced at times is the occassional rudeness of the staff. This seems to be an ongoing theme that the bar is in no hurry to correct, but the other positive aspects of this bar generally outweigh the rude factor.
