Decent food but way overpriced. Portion sizes are small and the food is not exceptional for what you’re paying for. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting though.
My wife and I were dining when a slightly overweight man whom we were later told was a chef named Josh dropped a bag of drugs right at my wives feet. Our son has substance abuse issues and this was so upsetting for her she got up did not eat her food and threw them away in the ladies room. Who even knows what kind of drugs were in our food if this man was so high he did not even notice he lost his quite extremely large bag of drugs. Never again, visiting from Chicago, will we risk being drugged there. We left hungry and paid a high price just to go to another restaurant in the area that was upstanding and sympathetic.
Atmosphere was cool, laid back and our waitress was awesome. Very knowledgeable and sweet. Food was fantastic. Hubby and I ordered a charcuterie board and duck prosciutto was delicious. Split a small butternut salad that good. Then we split two small plates that were amazing… the grilled octopus and the Mexican pizza which was a ceviche. Then topped it off by two unique desserts and coffee. Great place to split the food and try new things. The wine and bourbon drinks are good too. We will be back!
Excellent wait staff. Great vibe. Food is fantastic. Went for lunch, sat at the bar, and had the egg sandwich, beet salad, and bread pudding.
Unfortunately we never got to eat. We arrived at 7:15p on a Saturday anticipating to wait, we were told the wait would be an hour and fifteen minutes. We decided to walk to look around since we had never been to the area. The time give was up and when we asked when we’d be seated we were told it would be another 30 minutes. That came and went. When we were finally contacted two hours after we checked in we were eating some Chicago style pizza from the place a few doors down…it was delicious by the way!
The food here and the service here is excellent. The flavors they can pull out in each dish they make are hard to beat. The staff that was more than accommodating when I was running behind on my schedule was like a breath of fresh air.
Had a GNO here. It was my second visit to Bluebeards. It was fantastic from the first cocktail to the dessert. We had every course and took our time. The waitress actually encouraged us to take our time. Wish I could recall her name because her knowledge of the menu was impeccable. We order several different items and share so everyone gets to taste several different dishes. The large portions were plentiful. I highly recommend not skipping dessert. We tried three and all were worthy of a blue ribbon.
