This was the by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The pancakes were cold and hard. We sent them back and they still came back cold and hard. I requested a discount but the manager Laura Ballinger refused. I accepted her decision but my daughter did not. My daughter voiced her opinion. The manager was rude and difficult to talk to. The end result was the manager Laura Ballinger throwing a glass bowl at my daughter’s head and calling her a fat b****. Customers beware.
Would like everyone to know we are under new ownership. Lots of improvements to come. Trying to bring back you customers who had bad experiences in the past. Come and give us another try.
Very Good!. My boyfriend and I go to Blueberry Hill alot. I am pregnant and crave their food. I absolutely love their breakfast menu. The freedom toast is to die for. We never wait more than 5 minutes for someone to come up to our table. We always get our food very fast. I love this place and it’s nice to have on this side of town other than Dennys and Bob Evans. Must try!!
Disappointing. Went here for lunch with my wife and her grandparents, who recommended it. Lunch was not good at all, her chicken and dumplings looked like a gross plate of grey barf. Gyro was bland and greasy, and tsatsiki sauce was also bland. Overall it reminds me of a Denny’s, but with all older people and costs more…
Not Good.. ManagerOwner Nick is a jerk and non responsive to customer. Biscuits are dry and tasteless, other food is not much better. $5 for a glass of orange juice is outrageous.
Ownership Issues. I was never a breakfast person until recently diagnosed with Diabetes. So now I must eat breakfast everyday. The Blueberry Hill Pancake House is less than a mile from my Business. I found the Servers to be very friendly and fast. I never had to wait more than 3 minutes from the time I gave my order till it was on my table. The breakfast food is very good. I have tried a variety of Lunch and Dinner items, I really can not recommend this restaurant for anything but breakfast. AS I stated earlier I go in 5 day as a week for breakfast and have observed a few interesting things : My waitress completely forgot were I was – Found out she was sent home because she was stoned Another day shortly after this i observed another server drop her bag on the ground that located suspiciously like heron, she too was sent home. After speaking with a few of the regular servers, apparently they had a few servers with drug issues. I guess the owner Nick has a soft spot for the young ladies with troubled past, must because his daughter had similar issues.Today while enjoying my breakfast, I over heard a heated disagreement between two servers. One of the servers was the owners daughter and the other a 9 year employee. The 9yr employee was telling the Daughter exactly what she thought of how she treated all the other servers. The owner fired the employee who had been there for over 9 years, who was also one of his best servers. As I said I over heard the conversation and the Daughter was in the wrong. I will never give Blueberry Pancake House another penny for the way the owner Nick treats his employees. There is more background information, however not appropriate for this site.
