We are avid restaurant goers and disappointed with Charblue . The lobster bisque was seriously beef gravy with a few Lobster pieces on top and lukewarm. The Caesar salad had no flavor but salt. Meatball appetizer no flavor. Rib eye steak had a crisp exterior and red juicy interior- by far the best part of the meal. Dessert – avoid the tiramisu unless you like vodka in it! Very strong. Creme brulet is also a skip and majorly disappointing -again lacked flavor! If you like bland food and enjoy the overpowering smell of seafood this is your place.. I will say the decor is fantastic, great service, and it was clean. Nice romantic atmosphere. A lot of work on the menu is needed

Char Blue has no broiler to properly cook steaks the way I like them. The cook uses a griddle top like one would use on burgers. Flavorless And gristly NY Strip. Inexperienced staff. Very casual for the price. Rookie wine list. Stick to what you know. Way too much turnover. Usually indicative of a struggle.
