Staff Could Care Less About You. Went here awhile back for some drinks and jazz. Simple enough. We were there at 6:30, band started at 9. Me and my friends were drinking pretty heavily, had nice bar tabs and had no plans of stopping soon.Around 8:30, after serving us all night, the waitress comes by and tries to collect a $8 cover. We of course balked at this after spending more than enough as is. The manager reiterated the same thing with no budging. We were 6 of 10 people in the place…made no sense. They assured us we weren’t special from the cover charge. So we paid our $60 tabs EACH PERSON and left. We left out of principle. I would understand if we got there within an hour early, but really? Seriously? Decent bar with dive atmosphere but the staff believes their great location dictates disposible patrons. Most places would be appreciative but they could care less.
Total dive bar. Don’t pass this up.
