Food overpriced and mediocre, drinks water down. I wish I had read the reviews or we wouldn’t have come here. Waited a long time for food because large party seated before us. I would have been happier going to the Steak n Shake next door. Waitress was friendly.
Honestly, I was a little unsure about this place from reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are not as high as I thought and the food was great! We had a quick lunch. I hate the pulled pork and my boyfriend had the meatball sub (awesome!). The Server wasn’t too harsh, quite funny actually. The hostess tried a little to hard. If you’re a strong confident individual you’ll love this place. Insecure and cheap people would not find this place entertaining. Perhaps a mcdonalds would suit them better.
I can make better ribs in my oven at home (and have). Cold tasteless ribs with no smoke. Watery vegetable (though tasted fresh enough). Poor, insulting service, but I guess that’s the schtick here. If the food was better it might have been worth it, but it as it was the only funny line delivered was the total on the bill.Edit: Even more pissed off after reading the other reviews here, if you don’t post policies and prices on your menu, you are engaging in simple fraud. If anyone is setting up a class action lawsuit against these shysters, I’d be happy to participate.
Stay away from this place. If you want bad service and an expensive bill go here. $20 for two drinks. We inquired why so much to be told that your first drink is more expensive than your second because it is a discounted refill price(you get to keep your glass with the 1st drink) I then said we do not want the glass so take it off the bill. Next we were told that was not an option. We paid, but took the cost of the glass away from the servers (bad bad service) tip. Never again will we go here. Indianapolis does not need a restaurant like this.
Fun atmosphere & OK Food. We took a friend to Dicks for her birthday. We all really enjoyed ourself and had some good laughs with the table beside us. I ordered the chicken fryd chicken with the mash potatos & jalapeno gravy. The chicken was ok the mash potatos were ok the jalapeno gravy was good as well as part of the vegetables (some were good & some werent steamed enough). I will try something different if I return. A friend got the steak..I tried a bite and it was very tender and had a good flavor, maybe steak n shrimp next time. Overall I had a good time.
I really don’t know what to say about this place. Me and my family went here because a friend told us about it and said they slam your food down on the table, insult you for fun and all that. The food was good, my aunt got a salad and said the chicken was pink. To my surprise it was, she ordered another one that was much better. The rest of the food was fine. We got a few drinks, without noticing the drinks were about 23 dollars a pop. But the atmosphere was great and the staff are funny, and we all had a good time, are bill came to 143 dollars, that shocked us all, they also charged us twice for a huge beer that was enjoyable and fun, but if you have the money and want to enjoy some good times this Is the place for you.
