Second Indy area location, across from the Rathskeller. Hot dogs, burgers, other sandwiches and lots of sides. Beer and Wine. Sort of a basic decor, with garage doors that can open to the outside seating. Not open tonight. Not sure if it is just ‘their thing’ but all the menus were wrinkled or folded, not dirty, and the knives and forks were pretty flimsy plastic. Chicago Cubs stuff on the walls. The menus had some funny comments such as ‘Tell Fat Dan What He Should Do-$1.’ I had the Veggie Burger w/chips, which was very good, although I thought a little pricey at $10. My buddy had the The Chicago Dog, which he said was good. I will return.
Huge portion sizes! They bring everything out to the table on a huge piece of paper which serves as a table covering. The French Fries are very good. Golden on the outside and steaming white on the inside. The Chicago dog is authentic and the pickle slice was fantastic. The menu is large and varied and I look forward to exploring it more in the near future.
