Best Chinese in Indianapolis. I have been eating here LITERALLY my whole life. Everything is made from scratch, not frozen. Huge egg rolls, and a pint of fried rice can feed my family of 5! Affordable and delicious.08 Jan, 2015Egg Roll. Huge handmade egg rolls! Pork or shrimp. Not frozen!
Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Delicious
2nd review: They still have awesome eggrolls. Been back, and have had a chance to try more things since my first review. They still have awesome, huge, crispy eggrolls. (..and they are different…taste-wise, from everybody else’s. And its not bad, just different. Maybe there’s red cabbage in the mix? I don’t know. But its good.)I have noticed that they do their combination plates and lunch plates very well. And maybe its the lunch rush and the more limited lunch specials. I’ve noticed that they are busiest then. Otherwise, I have noticed some inconsistency with some of the other dishes. Sometimes they’re good…then other times they’re…meh. I do like them, I’m just more selective on what I get…and when.24 Mar, 2013Awesome Egg Rolls!!. I read the reviews, and they were right. Awesome egg rolls! …and they are huge.,,,and crispy….and tasty! They do have a different spice than other places egg rolls. The dishes we ordered where tasty and filling…although, depending on the dish you may order….just be prepared for a healthy amount of green peppers. We ordered the stir fried noodles (lo mein)…which we all liked. …also the curry chicken, which was good. Not bad…not great…but good. We are going to try them again. There’s a lot more on the menu that looks good. And a full service, sit down restaurant this is not. It’s kind of like an indoor stand…that happens to have seating. You go up and order…pick up your order, then have the option to take it home…or eat there, but if you eat there please bus your own table when you leave. We’ve all been to a fast food restaurant….same format.
Too greasy, not a great authentic taste, undercooked rice, the only great thing is you get a bargain on portioning. Over hyped Chinese food that doesn’t live up to its hype. Fav place to eat is wah wah’s out nw side on indy will travel for it.
Wow. Very large portions for under $5 at lunch. Good food and value.
