Have no idea what the food tastes like, because we couldn’t get past the hostess because we had our 18-year-old daughter with us for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Ended up down the street at Mesh and had an AMAZING lunch. Won’t be back, even when she turns 21.
Soooooo yummy!. I am not a big reviewer, but after eating and drinking here last night I have to say we LOVED it!Sushi was best I have had BY FAR in the Indy and Fishers area! We shared at least 12 different rolls between 6 people and every last piece was devoured. Even the Playboy (which comes wrapped in foil and on fire) which we thought would maybe be odd, was a fun presentation and tasty! I appreciated that even the very simple/basic rolls were flavorful and fresh tasting and perfectly bite-sized!Will be going back very soon!
Good sushi, poorly trained staff, abysmal business practices.. A group of 7 of us went out for Half Price Sushi Sunday. We were given sushi menus and pencils. We were told by our waiter that the half price items were below the nigiri and sashimi choices. One lady called her husband to see if he would like some brought home and ordered accordingly. It was not until she requested a box that she was informed that all carry out is full price. The Manager on duty (MOD) refused to give her a break on this stating that all of his regular customers know this practice. I asked if hed ever seen us before. He chose to ignore this and continued to lecture the lady about how this establishment had lost money on carry out in the past as all the regulars took advantage of this. He informed the lady that the only way she was getting out of the restaurant with her sushi in a box is if she paid full price for it. This does beg the question of why she must pay for their bad business decision.I suggested that the waiter might have lead with the fact that all half off sushi must be consumed in house. While not one person at the table could say they heard him say that, he stood there and argued with me that he had. He also pointed it out on the menu. It is there! On the bottom in teeny tiny print. Look for it!Also, the menu listed a fire dragon roll at $14. I ordered two thinking that half price should be $7 per, right? Wrong. They were billed at $28 each (nowhere on the menus we were given we all checked) and I was informed that the $14 listing WAS the half off price. This was after I received my corrected bill as the first was padded with items I did not order. Not much of a bargain, Im afraid. The sushi was very good, but unless you have money to toss about in a trendy setting, you can find as good or better for much less money and hassle in many other restaurants. Learn from our mistakes, lol!
Their orange crush is amazing…
Great Sunday deal. I met up with a friend on her birthday at this restaurant for the first time. There was a group of about 13 of us, and it was a Sunday (they offer half priced sushi on Sundays), so it was jam packed. We had reservations, so a booth was prepared for us. Very nice atmosphere; young and fresh. The bar was nice. Purchased a mojito and a bloody mary. Food took forever to come out, but it was understandable considering we were a big group who all ordered lots of sushi, and it was incredibly busy to begin with. Our server, Jordan, was prompt with drink refills and they did a great job prebussing the tables. For all the sushi we got, the bill was shockingly cheap (again, half priced sushi on Sundays!). I drove 75 miles to meet my friend here, and I am already planning on returning soon.
Obnoxious decor, boring rolls…nothing there to get me to come back.
Had dinner here last night for the first time. We only ordered Sushi, and were very pleased with our rolls. Normally on the pricy side, but on Sundays all sushi is half off. The dynamite and Corona rolls were our favorites.
