Not accomodating. I celebrated my 30th birthday on the rooftop and had a wonderful time. I was hoping to repeat the experience this year with my family and friends. Unfortuneatly, we were told that one of our guests was unwelcome. A one-year old child. We were told the rooftop is 21 and over. I understand no children in a bar or club but this is a restaurant. The child in question can’t walk and surely would not be ordering drinks. As one of the only rooftop dining facilities in the city, I’m sad that it is now off-limits to my friends and myself as we begin our families. Maybe making it over 21 after dinner, say 9pm? Luckily there are plenty of places with much better food just down the street. The rooftop most attractive feature is the view- not the food or drink. I’m sad that I won’t be enjoying a wonderful view this weekend but glad I can take my business elsewhere.
View is great, service sucks. 15 to finally get a server, to be told to keep in mind how much longer to wait for our food. To be brought from the other side to the elevator up to the roof. To wait 20 min for a salmon sanwich, blacken chicken cesar salad with no flavor. 20 min to see my beer, and then to never see the waitress to ask for my second beer or to ask if the food was OK. Bad bad service!
