The staff is friendly the donuts are amazing this is definitely a Hidden Gem in Indianapolis. If you have not tried General American donut I would definitely suggest you go there as soon as possible.
If I could write a review that consisted of less that 140 characters it would simple say (cronut+bacon doughnut = happy love forever) this is one of the best doughnut spots in indy and is worth the stop. They’re not open everyday so check before you go.

The best donuts I’ve ever eaten. They’re a bit more pricey than your average donut, but they’re very much not your average donut. You can’t get a creme brle donut at any donut shop I’ve ever been to.
Way over priced for how disappointing these doughnuts are.
Unique donuts. My husband and I stopped in on a very rainy Saturday morning when there wasn’t much of a line and tried several donuts with latte and were extremely pleased. These are not your typical donuts so don’t try comparing them to Long’s, Jack’s, Square, Dunkin or anyone elses. Appreciate them for their incredible flavors, the creative use of ingredients and presentations and for raising the bar on what a donut can be. These are donuts to be savoured, not stuffed down in a hurried rush. I hope this business survives and expands to additional locations (how about one on the far northside like on 86th St.?–oh, on second thought it might be dangerous having one that close). Go with an open mind–these are great donuts. Truly something unique for Indy to value and support.
