I just got back from breakfast here. I was going to write about it for the blog but I thought;since I was solo I would make it a review. Small place but well run with very good service even with it being so busy. The biggest thing that drew me here was the chipped beef they offer for less than $5. And you can get it on toast or biscuit. I know SOS is almost a punchline but I enjoy it,and so few places offer it. Much to my delight they had a Sunrise combo for $6.25. For that you get a half order with 2 eggs, your choice and bacon or sausage. I ordered biscuits, over easy eggs and sausage links. The eggs were beautifully done and the gravy was quite tasty. Not the best but tasty none the less. Of course I would have like more and bigger hunks of beef but for 6 bucks it was fine. I really enjoyed the sausage they use as well. I was quite satisfied with my breakfast. Real good and real fast. kosherhamandcheese.com

Friendly service, quick service and eggs weren’t overcooked. Unfortunately this is where the good ends. Frozen spinach in my skillet and the WORST even more was the canned mushrooms in it also!!! Canned mushrooms? Gross! The hashbrowns were soft and not crisp in any way. My breakfast date liked his French toast….but for me, I won’t be back, I’ll stick with 4 seasons or Lincoln square!
Worth a try. It’s hard to find a place you can get breakfast without waiting forever. Today I got a table right away, crunchy hash browns, great service, and an affordable bill. The other two people I was with enjoyed the hotcakes, omelet, and hash browns. Give it a try.
My hubby ordered the country fried steak and eggs with pancakes. He loved the gravy and said his eggs were perfect. I tried the pancakes and they were so fluffy. I ordered the loaded croissant with bacon. The croissant was flaky and delicious. The best I’ve ever had, actually. I got a side of sausage gravy for my hashbrowns, and I’m glad I did because I ordered those crispy and they weren’t. My one year old got the kids egg breakfast and he loved it. Overall we thought it was great. We will be back!
Just Like Flapjacks. I love trying new places, so I don’t regret trying this place. If anything I was able to ride my motorcycle for a good 20 minute ride to get here. I thought this place would be different but it is just like Flapjacks. From the syrup and creamers on the table, to the murals on the walls (the exact same that is on the wall of the Flapjacks in Bargersville) right down to the menu. The same. I *think* this place has 3-4 more dressed up pancakes. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy that they said is made from scratch daily. Pretty tasty, not the best gravy to be found by her tastebuds. I ordered the Country Egg breakfast which was 2 eggs any style, served with choice of meat, 2 pancakes, and choice of toast, grits, or fresh fruit. For a $1.75 upcharge I upgraded my pancakes to the strawberry cheesecake kind. Their pancakes were very fluffy and large and the toppings were awesome. It made them very delicious. One thing I did notice is that they didn’t cut very well. It could’ve been from the very cheap fork they provided or that maybe the pancakes had been sitting a while. I hope they weren’t sitting because we were the only ones in there at the time our food was being prepared. Without the strawberry cheesecake topping, the pancakes would’ve been a flop. My eggs were cooked perfectly and my bacon, which I requested to be very limp and without crispiness, was also cooked exactly to my liking! One thing I found interesting was that the fresh fruit I chose as a side with my meal had fresh strawberries in it, however the ones on my pancakes were obviously not fresh. At least I know that if I am in the area, this place has good breakfast, but I’ll be sticking with Flapjacks since they’re the same and Flapjacks is closest to me.
